UTILIZING THESE HIGHLY EFFECTIVE MULTI-SENSORY PROGRAMS:

THE LINDAMOOD PHONEME SEQUENCING PROGRAM

FOR READING AND SPELLING

This program helps students become better readers and spellers by providing them with new tools for perceiving the identity, number and order of sounds within words. The program teaches students to rely on articulatory feedback, or the way sounds feel inside their mouths, in order to compensate for deficiencies in phonemic awareness.

SEEING STARS
FOR SIGHT WORDS, RATE AND FLUENCY

This program is designed to stimulate symbol imagery, or the ability to visualize letters both in isolation and in words. This skill is essential for learning to recognize sight words that are difficult to sound out. Strong imagery also helps students improve their rate and fluency when reading in context. Seeing Stars teaches students to create a mental picture for letters and identify the corresponding sounds, building from single to multi-syllable words.
