VISUALIZING AND VERBALIZING
CONCEPT IMAGERY FOR LANGUAGE COMPREHENSION AND THINKING
This program systematically teaches individuals to first create mental pictures from language read or heard, then to recall, organize and verbalize the information visualized. This imaging process moves from small units of language (a word) to larger unites of language (paragraphs and pages). The goal is to provide students with the tools to develop vocabulary, comprehend written and oral language, express themselves concisely (orally and in writing), and to think critically.
